It is also rather heavy. I haven't used it long enough to run the batteries down yet, so I can't comment on the battery life, It did take awhile to charge when I got it. I like the lights near the power button, which indicate the level of charge. One thing that did concern me when I got it was it looked like it was not new. The box looked like it had been opened. It also looked like something may have been missing, but I'm not sure what that would be. It looked like there was a place for the batteries in the packaging, but the batteries were in it when I got it. The battery seems to burn faster than the listing, but it lasted 11+ hours on high. Which means it'll last most of the night if you needed a flood light to light up a construction site, lol. It also means will might last twice as long on low. I haven't tested that yet. As for water resistance, it's built like it's pretty sturdy. Gromets and gaskets at all seals.
