I have just bought EQ 130 my first telescope, is it to early to buy these extra lenses

Speaking for myself soon after I got my telescope I purchased the 1.25" (Celestron) accessory kit that contains 5 different lenses plus the Barlow lens and seven filters including a Moon filter. The moon filter is especially good and enhances the Lunar features well. The extra lenses are Plossl type and fully multi coated. This kit makes it essential once you have got the telescope and moves the experience to another level. I say hang the expense get the full kit.

I purchased the moon filter for my celestron 65 - 45 scope but am unable to locate where to attach it... please advise?

The moon filter and all similar filters screw into the thread inside the inner end of the telescope eyepiece, that is the small lens which you look through. Remove this lens from the telescope and look at the end, you will see a very fine screw thread which the filter screws into.

Is the compatable with the 22096? 22096 Nexstar

This eyepiece set is compatible with any telescope that has a 1.25 inch eyepiece fitting.
