Screw of low quality
The screw that close the case worn-out after one use and that rendered the case useless.

I got this for snorkeling and so far it's working. The Wi-Fi was easy to set up and I've had it only down to 5ft so far. Next month I'm headed to Curaçao for a few days of diving and snorkeling. I will only be used for snorkeling. If I have something bad to add I will update this review.

Awesome product (for under $50). I am so happy and relieved that this box kept my phone perfectly dry and allowed me to take some awesome underwater pix on our recent vacation to Hawaii. 5 years ago I bought 2 or 3 cheaper 'ziplock bag' type waterproof iPhone cases and they were an unbelievably frustrating disaster. I missed out on some lifetime photos of my daughter swimming and diving with sea turtles and I've been mad about it since then. This time I spent a little more and I'm so glad I did ~ I have the pix to prove it! The box is very tough, the seal is good, and the 6 strong clamps are very tight. In fact it's quite hard to get them open so make sure to keep the little 'guitar pick' tool with you ~ you'll probably need it. Adjusting the spring clamps inside the box to fit your phone only takes a minute once you're used to it, and it's kinda nice that it can fit all kinds of phones sizes and brands because others on my trip could borrow it. I don't know how it's possible but the touchscreen (kinda) works (if you're patient) so you can change camera settings while underwater. If I clicked enough times I could switch from photo to video mode, and even zoom. Again, it's all relative: it's way better than the plastic bags. The 'extended grip' is really nice just for stability, but the external trigger button is poorly designed. It's soft rubber, so it's easy to push down but half the time it squished to one side and got caught inside the housing and didn't pop back up. That means it's sometimes shooting rapid-fire when I only wanted one shot. I eventually gave up using the trigger and just poked at the screen 'record' button until I saw the timer running. I will say that the glass on the lens side of the case stayed clear and fog-free and my photos came out as clear and sharp as I could have hoped. There's even a small 'pressure release valve' on the back so when the sun heats up the box and the touch screen sheet starts to bow away from your phone, you can let out the air pressure without having to open the case. Nice. One major challenge, I presume with any underwater case, is the reflections can be maddening. Not sure there's a way to solve that, maybe unless you bought an extremely expensive kit with an anti-reflective surface? The problem is that since you're likely snorkeling and pointing your camera straight down into the dark water, the bright sky is right behind you reflecting in the glass. At many angles you can't see a damned thing. So I found myself curling into a ball and trying to tuck my camera into the shadow of my body just to make sure the video was rolling. Ugh. Still, in the end all I cared about was getting a shot of my kids with some sea life ~ and some late night fun in the hotel pool ~ and it did a pretty good job for so low a price.
