Works better than expected and more robust too!
I had the small Bauer hammer drill and it was fine for most drilling work I have thrown at it but wasn't cutting it for light demo work. I was ready to get its bigger brother but they didn't have any at the first store I tried near closing time (despite the website saying they did). I looked on Amazon and this one was bigger and had its own bits for less money and I could get it first thing the next morning. I was a bit hesitant but after getting it and putting it to work this thing was a beast. The grease is replaceable and it came with a tool like a grinder wrench to open it. I did add some because I worked it pretty hard but it never complained. The Bauer one I have leaked grease profusely with way less abuse and its not serviceable. It did the job I wanted and the bits held up better than the cheap ones I had bought before but not as well as the Bosch ones I had. Overall if you have some drilling or light demo needs this more than did the job for me and I was pleasantly surprised with the overall quality it was an amazing find even with the odd name and color scheme. For reference I used it to break up 3 large concrete lumps that were once around some long gone wooden posts near my front porch. It was several hours of hammering to break them up to my satisfaction so I could park there. Sure a full size jack hammer would have finished the job much faster than waiting for one to get here and I really don't have a need for one and this was better than renting one as I have a solid hammer drill for future use.

Great machine
Since receive I’m using the percusión hammer extensively to carve on rock and to drill old concrete. No pain at all work perfectly for more than 6 month. As good as a Makita.

Extra power
Bought this for small bathroom job. Works well. Does get hot when constant use. But did the job of taking tile up from a cement bed. Heavy duty easy to operate and great price

EXCELLENT value & tool, unknown how it will hold up to repeated heavy use (thus only 4* reliability)
UPDATE: At the bottom of the review I noted that there were no instructions about how to replace the motor brushes, even though a spare set came with the drill. In response to a question about that the company rep said they'd "try" to get the instructions from their engineers. I was skeptical that I'd get a final response. To my pleasant surprise they did! And so I've now bumped my rating from 4 to 5 stars. I had to drill several holes in concrete, and since I don’t anticipate having to do that a lot more I took a leap of faith and bought this product — one of the lowest price hammer drills I found on Amazon. For my purpose I was not disappointed at all. The entire package of things that came in addition to the hammer drill itself consisted of a variety of bits, some extra grease (needed to keep the drill in good shape), a rod to help limit depth of drilling, and a set of extra brushes, all in one nice, organized hard plastic box. I first tried drilling my holes with an old corded Craftsman drill (one that looked like most drills) that had a hammer function, and used Bosch bits made for concrete. Got basically nowhere after MANY minutes of trying: barely an inch into the concrete. When I got this hammer drill, and after reading the instructions, I put in one of the inexpensive-looking bits that came with the tool, not really expecting much, and started making my holes. I was more than pleasantly surprised. The tool and the bit made short work of drilling a pilot hole through about 5 inches of concrete, and following up with another supplied and larger bit gave me a nice, perfectly sized hole. One slight negative: Adding grease periodically is necessary to keep the drill working. The tube of grease that came with the tool wasn’t labeled to indicate what type of grease to buy when the supplied stuff ran out. I contacted the company (their email address is in the manual) and after a few days got a reply: basically any grease made to lube SDS drills (e.g., Bosch SDS drill grease), which this drill is. Readily available and inexpensive. So I’m cool with that. I gave only 4 stars, however, for the following reason. A set of extra motor brushes came with the drill, and that immediately suggested to me that the installed brushes (and so the drill) aren’t going to last a long time. I do not know that for a fact, however, and I will not be using the drill often so that may not be a problem for me. UPDATED: See beginning of review. I contacted the company by email about this too, and after a few days the person who replied didn’t know what motor specific brushes would be needed in case the ones supplied went bad, and they don’t know where to get another set. They also said there are no instructions about how to replace the brushes and the engineers who might know any of the above are “on vacation.” So, even if the installed set of brushes went bad the provided replacement set may not be worth anything if you can’t figure out how to replace them. (There ARE YouTube videos, but the how-tos seem to vary from brand to brand). Unlike some tools with an electric motor, there is no external cap to unscrew to just slide the old brushes out and put the new ones in.) One final note: The chuck does NOT take regular twist drill bits: you need to use "SDS" bits, which have a different shank that is best for heavy drilling. You can Google SDS drills (and bits) for more info; the bits themselves are readily available, and that's what most good concrete bits are. OVERALL: If you aren’t going to be doing the amount of concrete or other heavy drilling that a typical contractor might do, this is a great product at a great price, and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT.

Save yourself some money... buy it
I was worried it wouldn't last long but I haven't had any issues and I use it often. Works as expected. Great item for the price.

Excellent unit.
Is it a heavy-duty breaker? No, nor does it claim to be. I am building a small basement bathroom and needed to move the toilet and shower plumbing a few inches. I was not able to break through the 30-year-old 4-inch concrete and had to rent a heady duty breaker, but once I broke through, I was able to use this rotary hammer drill and chip away more concrete with the right technic. Now, I know what you are thinking, why not just rent a big jack hammer and call it good, well I rented it for a day and after I returned it, I found out that I needed to break away more concrete and that's when this tool came in handy. Much cheaper than a day's rental of a bigger unit and not to mention that this drill can remove tile and grout with ease, and I'll be using it to do a few other projects around the house. All the work that I have done with it, has more than paid for itself. This is an excellent unit in my humble opinion.

Amazing! Pounded Hard!
We had a kitchen project where I had to increase the size of our hood vent from a 4 inch hole through brick to an 8 inch hole I tried hammer drills and just couldn't get the job done I looked at renting A rotary hammer or a small jackhammer. Saw this on Amazon and bought it It made short work of the Brick and I got the job done and literally less than five minutes. This thing is super powerful It comes with great chisels, Great drill, It's easy to handle when compared to other drills like this If you need a powerful chisel, Jack jackhammer, Powerful hammer drill, Just buy this. Nice case, Includes 2 brushes for the motor., grease... Everything you need in one kit

A BEAST! Great Price!
Unbeatable durability. Destroyed 1,800 pounds of ceramic tile and mastic on concrete in a few hours. 2 of us trading off but this thing never got a break until my tile spade broke a bolt (not part of this kit). At that time, the grease box needed a refill. It holds more than the tube that comes with it, so have a grease gun or other source handy if you give this thing and all day workout. It does get hot but that does not seem to matter. The bits are of decent quality and I've used the 10mm to drill about 80 holes for 3/8 rebar pinning for a concrete repair. !NOTE! This is not a jack hammer/breaker. If you plan to bust out a significant amount of high test concrete, this is NOT the tool for that. Rent an actual breaker. But this thing deserves 10 stars for the $90 price!!!
