Just as the title implies; delicious and tasty, easy to follow, recipes for the slow cooker. Love these "skinny cook books!", I have four now! Have the skinny takeaway book, and decided to buy this as I love using my slow cooker. Delicious authentic recipes, with a lot of spice use. Easy, clear and best of all as far as I am concerned...they are super healthy with no Ghee use. Granted they aren't your high street Indian Restaurant curries, but believe me they come close. This is especially important to me as I am only just recovering from a heart attack and need to keep my diet super healthy. Nice to know I don't have to give up on my Curry Hit totally. Uncomplicated, tasty recipes
A great little book with some very tasty recipes which work well using a slow cooker. I like how the recipes are organised into sections... meat, poultry etc + progressive calorific values. I just wish there were some illustrations of the recipes to add further appeal

good Recipes but timings Vague & too Short if working
Really simple, varied & tasty sounding curries - only criticism is that the timings are a bit vague eg Many say 3-5 Hours & this is not a particularly helpful amount of time if u want something you can cook up over night or whilst you go out to work..

A little gem
A very useful curry slow cooking book. Some interesting recipes of pork,beef,chicken,fish and some vegetable curry recipes. Easy to folllow recipes in clear font. Have already tried a few recipes all where lovely, not too keen on the very spicy recipes but plenty of choice and in UK measurments. All recipes come with calories calulated. The Skinny Slow Cooker books are a good find for easy slow cooking recipes.

This is the best quick and easy healthy cook book in the house and used week in and week out. Some of the family are vegetarian and I have found that substituting chicken for quorn chunks works really well, so we don't need to stay with just the vegetarian recipes. The meat eaters are OK with quorn in these meals as there is plenty of flavour. I don't want to mislead you these curries are not the same as a take away, there is no creamy, buttery rich sauce. But in their own right these meals are tasty, ingredients are easy to find, they are easy to prepare, very "skinny" and we find ideal for midweek.Portions are also decent so you don't end up feeling hungry afterwards.
