I had to tighten a bit more than I would have thought to not have any leaks under pressure while holding the water back with my finger. Quality of the plastic is good and it's easy to screw on. **Q: Can anyone confirm that the gap where you put the tap in is 43cm wide (or more) as I have noticed one review that said it was too small for their tap?**
A: Not sure what size of Tap you mean as 43cm is just short of half a meter!  The gap is 3cm wide, just big enough for a standard mixer style kitchen tap.

**Q: What other things to I buy to connect to hose?**
A: Hi. You would need a Hozelock Quick Release Aqua Water Garden Hose End Pipe Connector Fitting if you don't have one, snapshot I can't include as Amazon says not supported. That screws onto your hose and clips on to grey bit.
The enclosed item is generally bought if you don't have an outside tap to clip the thing I've described onto.
But, what your buying is rather a 'make do' connector & hopefully will screw down & fit say your kitchen tap where I'm guessing your intending to dangle in your hose through a window and onto your bathroom or kitchen tap. Being 'make do' I recommend you screw it very tight, pop a cloth round outside of the fitting and ensure you don't pull the hose hard else it will come off the tap with possibly damp consequences. Done carefully, proviso it will fit / slip over your tap, it does get one by.

A: Hi, yes it does, that's what I use it on, can be tightened up nice and tight also includes an extra washer that you can use for extra padding.

Really Useful and Easy to Use! I bought this Hozelock indoor tap connector to attach my garden hose to the kitchen tap, and it works perfectly! I was a bit unsure at first if it would fit, but it attached really easily to my mixer tap and gives a nice, secure seal with no leaks. The two rubber gaskets included really help make it watertight. It feels sturdy and well-made, not cheap or flimsy like some of the others I’ve tried. I’ve used it several times already to fill buckets and wash things outside, and it’s been completely reliable. If you need to connect a hose to your indoor tap without making a mess or buying special fittings, this little gadget is ideal. Definitely worth the money — I wish I’d bought it sooner!

Used the widest rubber washer and works perfectly for my tap even though the top is slanted. Great piece of kit had them before fits on kitchen mixer tap and give you warm/hot water out side water pressure is good you put on to pressure washer if needed for more pressure.very easy to install.
