I happened upon the Football Chart through an advertising e-mail.My husband had made basic cardboard charts from when our son was small and he was doing the same with our grandson. It was an easy choice when I saw the chart it stood out with all the teams colours. Ordering was quick and simple. Delivery was very fast and the product was well packaged. My grandson was very very pleased with his present. The attractive, colourful, user-friendly chart has made his interest in playing football leagues come alive.Because it is magnetic interchanging the team positions is more efficient. The test I think for me was when his dad, my 36 year old son saw the chart he was really impressed with it and couldnt resist a play. The chart is superbly made and looks and feels as if it will last for some time to come.Simplicity in use means the game holds my grandson's attention longer. I would say the game is a great success and would readily recommend it.

Bought as a birthday gift for my son who loves it. Changes it after every match. Need fine whiteboard pens as only a small place to write the numbers but strong magnets. Some colours incorrect for teams but great they have the national league teams for future proofing as it should last well.

As you can tell from the title review, I rate this product as BRILLIANT! My child is 6 years old in 2 months and I wish I'd bought this earlier as she has taken to it instantly. I home-educate my child and this is one of the best learning aids I have. Being able to pick up the words and place them on the magnetic board has made it easier for her to not only grasp sentence structure but also to retain the knowledge of learning sight words. She particularly enjoys placing the words in a sentence and then writing it out beneath them using the supplied pen in each pack. I do not teach her using the phonics system and rather through the "old fashioned" style of sight word recognition, which works better for her, and this has just helped us plough ahead without being bored by printed pages in a book. I also bought the KS1 & KS2 pack as she knows more words than is in the Reception pack and with both combined it has just made learning (and teaching) so much more enjoyable for both of us. I genuinely can't fault it, hence the 5 stars.

Exactly what I ordered

I bought this for my soon to be six year old grandson who is mad about football. He loves ordering all the teams at the start of the season and I’m hoping he’ll keep up with it as the season progresses. Not only good for the football but also for reading,ordering and organising skills!

I'd like to have been able to create sentences from these words, but the choice of subjects and verbs was too limited.

This is just wonderful! I grew up in Britain and had something similar (it was paper not magnetic) when I was a child. This brings back so many good memories. If you like British football, this is a must!
