I would imagine it would be the same for a DD3. It also has a polarity switch on it so if it doesn't seem to work in the initial switch position, changing the switch to the opposite polarity may fix it. So this pedal is useful just for tap tempo (which I can do with the unit itself)?** A: Hi Javier. I also have a Boss DD-7. The FS-5U is use full. You just have to plug it in and you're ready. If u use de pedal itself, u have to hold it in first prior to use the tap tempo, bit with the FS-5U.. U don't have to. It's good for dotted 8 notes. A footswitch like this makes it much easier to accurately time the end of the loop...?** A: Yes it can be used with the RC-3....I also bought a second pedal FS-5U to increase/decrease the saved loops. Works like a charm... YouTube the RC-3 and you will find these being used and how to use with the RC-3.
