does this leave a white residue like traditional waxes? only i want to avoid my bonnet stone chips from showing up! tks

It can leave a slight white residue but not as bad as a traditional wax. Though I buff it off just before it sets to much

How would you apply this to a polishing pad using a Machine? Would it be the same way as a normal hand application pad?

I would read the instructions on the tin. it's only really for use by hand. What i use for my electric polisher is the liquid.

Will this fill in swirl marks?

Hi, It really depends on how bad the swirls marks are and if you have dark paintwork. You may have to use a fine cutting compound - Meguair's Ultimate Compound or similar product from Mothers - then use Gold class Carnuba Paste. I use this on my 1967 MGB and have been very impressed with the finish. Larry Crabb
