Excellent quality would like to see it in yellow and red

I generally speaking only buy high quality tools which is why I purchased these, Knipex are the Rolls Royce of hand tools like this, would certainly recommend them, never had any issues, and hopefully never will. Stay away from cheap brands, if you care about the job you do, buy these!

Smooth and easy to use. Crimps perfectly

Great tool very smooth crimping one handed you can feel the quality.

Very good pliers, KNIPEX does not disappoint. The only thing to mention is that if you store them for a long period of time in a humid environment (i.e. in the UK) oil it up (with WD40 for example) to avoid surface rust forming (as seen in the pictures). It is not a big issue as it is only at the surface and can be cleaned easily. From a functionality point of view it is not affected.

I have been using a cheap Amazon version of these ratchet crimpers for around 3 years without any problems, mainly to crimp 6mm2 wire onto yellow insulated crimps. I thought I would invest in Knipex ones to make life a little easier. They work well, do the job, but I would not rate them any higher than cheap unbranded versions. Both the Knipex and the unbranded need similar force (sometimes two hands) to crimp yellow insulated crimps onto 6mm2 and a little tip is to extend the handles out with some solid 20mm metal conduit to give you more leverage.

A very good tool. Compared to many other companies (I repeat once again that not one such tool) does not work as easily as this Knipex. One pleasure to work. All such tools need to be applied quite a bit to press. Minus very expensive
