Really nice laser, and it seems well built. I took some test measurements, and it's spot on so far. Measurement readings are almost instant, and it's easy to use. The screen needs to be brighter while outdoors, and the battery drains quickly. It is rechargeable, which is a plus.

This laser measure works really well and is super easy to use. It gives fast and accurate results, even for long distances. This device works well on the inside. If you are using it outside on a moderately bright day, it is almost useless. It has a red laser which you cannot see and the screen is so dim that I found it almost useless. It does not have a brightness control for the screen. I returned this one and ordered the S50 green laser. For outside usage it is much much better.

My measuring tool arrived today and I excitedly opened up the box, downloaded the software, and began testing it. It is substantially smaller than the Bosch GLM400C. Some early Bluetooth issues aside I was happy with the device and found it to measure 12" right on par with a metal ruler I placed beside it. So far so good, right? Then I started trying to draw room walls and that worked as expected. THEN I tried using the photo annotation feature. Firstly, the device DOES NOT save and pass photos through into the workspace on your phone. You must use images that are already on your paired phone, or else take a new picture with the phone. EVERY TIME I tried to open up a photo to start adding measurements to the app crashed. Every. Single. Time. And I tried about 20+ times, after trying the usual things like un-pairing and re-pairing the tool with my phone, completely uninstalling the Smart Life app and re-installing, rebooting the phone, etc. Nothing stopped the app from crashing every time I tried opening up a picture to add measurements to. For this reason alone I give this product 1-Star, because the APP sucks!

Bought it on a whim and now I reach for it all the time. Way faster than a tape measure just point and done. It’s been accurate for everything I’ve tried, and not having to deal with batteries is a plus. Bright sunlight makes the laser a bit harder to see, but indoors it’s perfect. Really handy little tool. Would recommend for others to get in construction.

The accuracy of the measurements is spot-on, and I've used it for everything from measuring room dimensions to calculating wall areas for painting plus you can easily calibrate it. The display is clear and easy to read, even in lit environments, and the user friendly. The best part in my opinion is the fact that it has a camera and I can accurately see where I need to measure as well as the laser itself of course. I totally recommend it because it has exceeded my expectations 100%.
