My back and front garden is normally swamped with ants nests causing a lot roaming on the pavement slabs all spring and summer. I’ve used the watering can all over my front and back grass / pavements / door frames etc. for 2 days now I have seen NO ANTS in front or back garden and have been sitting outside most of those days. This stuff is really worth a buy. Easy to apply and works brilliantly. Just what it says on the tin! I have used nearly 2 cans of this however we do have quite a large space to cover. I have some left in the second can to put over any nests I may see appear in the next few months. So far I’m so so impressed 5 star from me !! My only suggestion is to make sure you thoroughly soak the nest and leave for about 40mins. Then with a stick break the nest but be ready with more Ant Gone. After a thoroughly good soaking the nest should be OK to flatten. Don't forget that Ants nests can be very deep in the ground up to 18 inches or more. So soaking the nest thoroughly is very important. Best of luck. **Q: Hello, is this product cat friendly** A: When I ever use this product now I make sure my cats are indoors. I did watch my cats in the garden when I first used this product. They hate the smell. But as I said to be safe keep them indoors. **Q: Does anyone know how much this 5l will treat?** A: I don't know measurements but we had about 15-20 large(18inches x 18) ant nests in our lawn and we cleared nearly all of them I had bought va second can in case and only used it for the last one. very good stuff we were pleased with the result **Q: Think the ants are in borders under shrubs I also have flying ants all outside what will kill all** A: I used it on a path. it killed every ant it touched, when I tried it on an ant hill on my lawn it killed every ant on top including flying ants but the nest itself survived. I assume the poison couldn't reach the queen. On the plus side it did knock the nest back and didn't damage the lawn.
