Not tested long enough to comment on lifespan. They need to be calibrated because their accuracy is +-5% at least. That is not a problem though, so as long as you "trim" them in your software they will be fine. Great for project and hobby projects. I would not recommend for serious, precision, or accurate measurements. My advice is to setup all five when you get them, and compare to an accurate known temperature (or take an average of readings), and then tag each sensor with a label that you can write the trimming information on. Then each time you use them you don't need to calibrate them. They all look identical so you need to label them (there is no visible numbers or serials or anything) ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very Good *by B***N on 17 March 2018* So easy to program on the Raspberry Pi - just enable one wire. I used two with a Raspberry Pi Zero to take readings of my boiler flow and return temperatures over a 24 hour period at 1 minute intervals. I taped the sensors to the pipes to do that.
