Fast and long lasting
When I started shaving my head in favour of my face, I wondered if my usual leading brand 3-blade razor would need to be upgraded. The skin differs greatly, and I soon discovered that no change was needed. However, where Dorco excel is in two areas: cost, and blade quality. I first tried Dorco's Pace 6, and for me the blades were way too sharp and close together. It was an uncomfortable shave. I wasn't giving up so easily though, so I went for the Pace 4. I instantly knew they had a winner. It's not called 'the all-rounder' for nothing. Four not-too-sharp-but-in-no-way-dull-or-inferior, well-spaced out blades glided over my skull effortlessly. I did not have to go over some areas repeatedly. Every hair rinsed clean from the blades between strokes, and it felt comfortable, dare I say enjoyable. I was done in half the time it usually takes. My first Pace 4 blade lasted a month, slightly longer if memory serves. Really couldn't believe it. It just kept cutting without any loss of performance. I'm with Dorco, and I'm staying.

Dorco Pace 4
Previously I had used Gillette pro glide which is ridiculously expensive compared to Dorco and I had flirted with a well known subscription service (named for a fungal faced military gentleman) whose blades were sharp and gave a good shave but the blade head depended for its pivoting action on the flexing of 2 pieces of rubber that split by the 4th shave and became dangerous to use. They cost £2.50 per blade, divided by 4 shaves = expensive! So after reading the reviews, I came to Dorco and selected the 4 blade razor. I am pleasantly surprised to find that I get as good a shave as with the 5 bladed pro glide and almost as good as the subscription service razor. The razor itself looks nice and the blade head clicks securely into place. The head pivots nicely and I've experienced none of the problems identified by other reviewers. The contest was decided by the longevity of the Dorco blade head. I have now achieved 10 very close and satisfying shaves with the Dorco and it is still going strong. The lube strip is lasting well and by stropping the blade on my forearm before use, the blades are still very keen. I can recommend this product without reservation.

Been around the brands and keep coming back!
I've been with Dorco for a long while but I've not always been consistent. Started using a Dorco Pace about 10 years ago and bulk bought blades from their website, then again from Amazon and moved onto some of their other products. I've had forays back into Gillette, Wilkinson's and most recently Harry's but none compare. Speaking as a man who clean shaved daily these offer the best value for money and the closest irritation free shave plus the blades seem to last forever! Harrys can't make a salvageable razer and they pivot at an odd point (plus the cost is extortionate!) Gillette and Wilkinson make good quality razer's but they don't last long and cost a bomb This is the best middle ground and would easily recommend with a good shave gel (Nivea for men sensitive shave gel is good)

I have been looking for new razor having used the usual brands in the UK and Came across these.i received them promptly in nice packaging and multiple razors Today I shaved after 4 days growth , so really put the razor to work, it is nicely balanced with s lovely hande. Let's get to the important bit, how good was the shave, well!!! All I can says is amazing , glided over my skin with one stroke, leaving my skin clean with no soarness with lovely close shave. To all you gents wanting a new razor look no further i will be buying this again , and recommending it to all my friends and family, I bought two and extremely pleased , gives the known brands something to think about for the money cannot be beaten.

Very good shave, very good price
I shave every day. This razor is nearly as good as the so called best a man get, at a fraction of the price. The 'posh' blade last me a week, so does this Dorco 4. Simple maths mean a very good shave at much lower cost. Thank you.

Good to try if you want an alternative to the big cost big company blades
Good enough quality. I think this is the same as dollar shave club razors and Lidl razors. They certainly fit the Shave Lab blades from the German company, so I guess they all came from the same factory. Blades are fine, I really bought these for the handle, as my Shave Lab handle snapped after a year or so. This handle is ok, does not feel as solid as the basic Shave Lab handle, but it feels fine and will do. The four blade version of the blades also seems very similar to Shave Lab. It pulls a little (but 4 blades will pull more than 6) but close enough and lasts a good week for me. Better value and technology than the big names. Worth a try if you are looking to try an alternative.
