Great to look at and has a real nice weight in the hand. My only complaint is that due to the limitations of the sliding mechanism, the provided thermal strip is meant to be placed on the plastic main board that holds the SSD. Consequently, there is no direct thermal connection between the SSD itself and the aluminium enclosure; meaning that you're left to rely upon what little heat transference can occur via the small air gap between the SSD and inner wall of the enclosure and, additionally, the potential heat dissipation that can occur through the thin air channels/vents that run along the sides of the enclosure. Add on the fact that my Samsung 990 pro doesn't appear to have any nand chips on the back of the board where it actually touches the thermal strip and I don't quite see how the SSD feasibly benefits from the thermal strip at all. I'm no expert, but it would seem that it would just serve to divert some of the excess heat towards the motherboard of the enclosure which I can't imagine will do it much good in the long run?
