In this set, they are all loose, but the whole lot sits relatively flat in the box and springs up at the push of one sizeable side button. The main box itself has a buckle that can be flicked with a knuckle, not a nail and the main screwdriver body has a hole that any suitable rod can be stuck through to create a bar to assist turning, including the extension bar in the set so no need to carry anything extra. She was also very pleased to have a "flexible, bendy thing" in the set, lol! Can't really comment on the robustness of the bits yet, but the colour makes the whole set look good and if the metal is indeed stronger than chrome vanadium, they should be fine for the small tasks it's aimed at. Just don't expect it to do big jobs - it's clearly a minatures set. They have very small screws!** A: I would say yes. The shafts are really slim and there are 48 different screw heads and even some small socket spanners plus a flexible head. For the thickness, they are quite sturdy too. A good buy in my opinion. **Q: Would the tri piece work in removing the back of a switch?** A: It depends on what type of screw heads that were used to assemble the switch ? The Tri kit contains a variety of precision bits which are useful and suitable for all sorts of different screw heads. So probable ok. The Tri kit driver set is not electrically insulated, so fittings should be powered off etc. for safety before working on them **Q: Will i be able to work on my macbook pro mid 2012 non retina with this set of screwdrivers?** A: I've had this set for a while and I haven't not been able to open anything electronic with it. While I havent tried opening up a mac book Pro I'm sure it probably has the right tool **Q: Are there any nontapering flat head tips in the set.
