Were they durable? Was the sound ok?** A: I’ve not had the chance to use these outside so I’m afraid I can’t tell you how durable they would be in a sensory garden. I have found that some children are capable of denying them if they try hard enough! The shorter ones are easy to hold and get a sound out of, although be careful if anyone using them has a tendency to hit out as they would give a sore wallop. I imagine the colours would fade if kept outside of course, not sure what other effect the weather would have. Children at school always love the boomwhackers, best of luck with the sensory garden. **Q: Are these completely hollow? Would it be possible to feed some string through to hang them up ? Thanks.** A: Yes they are hollow, so I can't see why you couldn't hang them up.
