I recently picked up the Schleich Farm World Cute Cats and Kittens Playtime Set, and it has quickly become a favorite in our house. My daughters absolutely love cats—they point out every cat they see, love reading cat-themed books, and even pretend to be kittens sometimes—so this set was an instant hit. As soon as they opened the box, they started naming each kitten and setting up little “cat adventures” around the living room. It’s the kind of toy that fits perfectly with their interests and keeps them engaged for a long time. The set includes a mom cat, several kittens, and fun accessories like a basket, cat house, scratching post, and tiny toys. The detail on each figure is impressive, with realistic poses and textures that make the whole set feel high-quality. The accessories help create imaginative little scenes, and the durable build means the pieces hold up well to being carried around, dropped, and played with constantly. There are a couple things to keep in mind. The set is a bit more expensive than basic animal toys, but the quality really shows. Some of the accessories are small and easy to lose, so we keep everything in a little storage bin when playtime is over. And while the set is adorable on its own, kids who love building bigger play setups might want more Schleich pieces to expand their world. Overall, this set is perfect for cat-loving kids like mine. It encourages imaginative play, feels sturdy and well-made, and sparks the kind of creativity and storytelling that keeps them busy and happy. If your child loves cats even half as much as mine do, this is a great toy to have.

I love this set. LOVE. Initially my daughter (3 YO) received this as a gift; she plays with it all the time! We decided to buy it for another little girl who was having a birthday and is a fellow cat lover. Schleich toys are such great quality and that is so appreciated!! Highly recommend this set - lots of fun to add other kitties to it too! Keep in mind that the size is small, some of the little kitties aren’t bigger than a quarter. So fun for imaginative play. We opt to keep ours in a clear zippered pencil case and that works great. I appreciate that I got the set on sale (~$15) because I do feel $20 is a little steep. Overall it’s a great set and so so fun! Perfect for age 3/4 up to 7/8 I would say!

This is such an adorable set for a young animal lover and if your child is a Schleich collector, this set makes a fun addition. After we adopted our cat, this was a set that caught our son’s eye and he thought all the little cat accessories were so fun! These hold up FOREVER. Schleich toys last generations.

I love toys, and I love love love cats! This is a great display for my bedroom. I’m the cat lady, don’t you know. Made well, and everything stands up without falling. It’s a good gift for any aged cat lover.

It’s very cute! My niece was obsessed! But we promptly lost both kittens. One was found, the other is still on “vacation”. Yarn ball is taking a break under the couch. Best suited for older kids that can keep track of small parts.

The product photos are accurate, and all the cute little details are there. I would say the quality is pretty good for an average toy. It is plastic, and the cat figurines are more sturdy than the cat tree and toys. There are definitely some choking hazards among the smaller pieces, so definitely keep that in mind if you have small children. Another thing to note is that it does require some assembly. The cat tree arrives in pieces and needs an adult to put it together. Overall a cute and fun toy for an older child who isn’t at risk for choking.

Gotta admit, these are some pretty tiny pieces, but they're all so detailed and well made I'm hoping we can hang on to them. 3 yr old loves cats and loves this kitty set.
