Mielle Organics Honey and Ginger Styling Gel 13oz, White, 384 ml (Pack of 1)

I used this product to do a natural 4c wash and go. I washed and deep conditioned my hair, then used this product on its own, no leave-in conditioner, and on soaking wet hair. It had lots of slip. I combed it through so it covered each strand of hair, and by Jove my hair is defined to the heavens with a strong hold. Yes it has a cast, but this is what keeps the definition for days. The smell is amazing and smells clean and of ginger. I am on day 3 hair now and my hair is still holding to the heavens. I don't re-wet my hair in the mornings as it causes frizz, but let the steam from the show rehydrate my hair. It is an amazing natural hair gel that can be used on its own or with a leave-in. Choice is yours. Definitely worth every penny.

Has a fantastic smell and curls my hair almost instantly, and it works even better with a diffuser

I’ve never used a styling gel before and followed the way another customer used hers (apply to soaking wet hair and rehydrate with steam from shower next day). My hair was so easy to comb and style after. It felt really soft the whole day and as if my hair was keeping its moisture. The smell is somewhat strong at first (subtly) but you’ll get used to it. The product is easy to use and provides good slip. I’ll retry my attempt when I next have wash day as I’d like to try it with properly soaking hair and the curl definition was there but not as much as I thought (my own efforts). I’ll definitely be trying more styling gels but I might choose a different scent.

Smells like ginger. Smell is quite strong. Has SOME hold but not a lot. It doesn’t flake though.

A lightly scented, non sticky liquid. Can be used with a diffuser for full bouncy curls on wash days and scrunched in to hair between washes. A little goes a long way! Very pleased with the purchase.

I have coarse curly hair and the Mielle brand is the only one that helps keep the condition and shine. This is my first purhcase of the Gel to help contain frizz. Fingers crossed it works like the shampoo and leave in conditioners.

Ich nutze das Styling Gel seit einigen Wochen im Alltag und habe es in der vorgesehenen Anwendung getestet und ins nasse Haare eingeknetet um für meine Locken-Routine einen Gel-Cast zu bekommen. Positiv aufgefallen ist mir vor allem der Duft des Gels, sowie auch die Wertigkeit der Verpackung und die organischen Inhaltsstoffe. Die Handhabung ist unkompliziert, für meine Nutzung (Locken definieren und herausarbeiten) erfüllt das Produkt seinen Zweck zuverlässig. Es gibt einen Stern Abzug, weil man doch länger experimentieren muss, welche Produktmenge für ein optimales Ergebnis benötigt wird. Ich habe Unterschiede je nach verwendeter Produktmenge festgestellt. Das ist kein Ausschlusskriterium, sollte aber vor dem Kauf bedacht werden. Insgesamt eignet sich das Produkt gut für alle, die in ihrer Lockenroutine ein Styling Gel haben wollen, was nicht klebt und außerdem gute Inhaltsstoffe hat. Wer jedoch besonderen Wert auf minimalen Produkteinsatz in den Haaren legt, sollte dies berücksichtigen. Für meine Nutzung erfüllt das Produkt seinen Zweck zuverlässig.

The only product that works on my seriously serious 4c hair

I love this product, I have 3A hair and it creates a gel cast and my curls are always super defined and mainly frizz-less. The biggest con though is that this product is $30 which is not that affordable but I guess it’s worth it, but this product does run out fairly fast so make sure to keep that in mind before you spend $30 on this product. But otherwise, I truly recommend this product it is amazing, I use it in my curl routine and to refresh my curls.

Love it , gives my curly hair a good hold, no crust or stickiness, not heavy or weighs down the hair , it’s also kind of moisturising and gives the hair a shine , my hair is 3a / 3b curls
