Can this be used for removing glue residue from a newly fixed laminated floor? The has been used to stick the laminate.

It will certainly help. You will need to ensure it doesn't seep into the cracks between the laminate as this may cause damage to the wood/adhesive below. Apply liberally and let it penetrate the glue. It breaks down the adhesive bonds enabling it to be cleaned easier.

Will it remove acetone, used for nail painting, from oak furniture?

I used this on a curtain with paint on it and it did not remove it. I also used it to remove mahogany stain on a carpet and it did remove the stain but the carpet was supposed to be stain resistant so that may have helped. I used it on a sticky surface due to tacky back (the tacky back came away but glue did not) Goo gone did not work on the sticky surface and I used my hairdryer which did remove the layer of glue very well. Acetone being a nail varnish removed may have removed any varnish or lacquer on the oak so do not think Goo Gone will restore the furniture.

Remove rim tape from motorbike wheels?

I would expect it will remove the adhesive residue after you physically remove rim tape itself, although not tried this specifically.

Could this take patches of dried in wax off my car?

I've used it on my car before to take off sticky duct tape residue. It didn't damage the paint at all, though I was sure to test it on a less visible area to make sure that it wouldn't cause a problem. It works well on dried gluey, sticky substances, but I wouldn't expect it to work too well on wax.
