This product should honestly come as a standard package with any chair. After two years, my chair started sinking randomly, so I decided to try this out—and I’m very satisfied! The adjustable sizes let you set the height exactly how you want it. Truly a must-have for anyone dealing with a similar issue.

Good - but you might need a wrench
I chose this because it would not be unattractive when installed - with obvious screws or clips etc. I was concerned when I put the modules on my chair as I couldn't manage to close them. I presumed that the stem of my chair was too large. However, I found that by using a pipe wrench I was able to close them. Once closed, I am very happy with the result.

Four pieces of cheap looking rubber pipe ? After this I bought another gas strut and binned these these useless items A replacement gas strut is not much more expensive and is easy to buy on Amazon and super easy to fit.

My sons computer chair wouldn't stay raised up, the pump would just slowly lower the chair by itself all the time, and and I thought I had to buy a new chair for him. But I found these and they work amazingly to keep his chair up!! I used 3 of them on his chair and it's been a perfect affordable solution to a chair that won't stay raised up anymore. They were very easy to snap on as well.
