Are they packaged and shipped with lots of padding so the bottles don't smash?

I’ve only ever bought them online and they were well packed, with no breakages

Would it be possible to use these inks with a fountain pen and ink converter?

Hi there, These drawing inks are fast-drying, water resistant and transparent - they can be used with a brush, dip pen or airbrush. Unfortunately they are not recommended to be used with a fountain pen or ink converter as they may cause clogging. I hope this helps. Kind Regards Megan Cowling & Wilcox

Product description error. Are there two different sets?

As you surmised, there are two sets, one the "William" the other the "Henry". The colours differ in each set but there is a black in each set.

I was just wondering if these are Non-Waterproof Inks?

The inks are water based and can therefore be diluted. They are obviously not waterproof. Also fade in direct sunlight.
