Sadolin Extra Durable Clear Coat 1lt Satin Finish

Have used Sadolin coloured stain preservative before, but first time to use Clearcoat gloss. It brings out the beautiful colours of hardwood. I am a convert and in future will always use Clearcoat gloss on my garden seats and external woodwork on my house. It's easy to apply and dries quite quickly. Very pleased with the results. I hope it is durable in the weather of the UK, time will tell

Excellent nourishing varnish easy to apply

Was very thick to apply and used a brush that I then threw away rather than clean [I know - but cleaning it also bad for planet ]Good stuff tho looks neat and was not difficult to apply ; has lasted well so far and this tin with delivery was cheaper than getting it in a local shop

I used a different Sadolin product on a garden gate a long time ago and it lasted very well.I wanted something less shiny than a high gloss finish and this seemed suitable,but a tiny bit more glossy than I anticipated.I thought I had picked good day for weather but it rained before the coating was entirely dry and I was really happy to see that it had not been badly affected by the shower.

Good protection. Giver a good smooth finish. It is easy to get runs as it is quite thick

Fence 'paints' come in many different colours and at various prices, but this is rather different. This is a high quality varnish like product that really brings out the grain and colour in the wood you are applying it to. It probably takes a little longer than basic fence paint to apply, but the finished product looks fantastic.

This is just a clear varnish so may be much cheaper as a different brand.

Excellent weather proofing product.
