this has two stainless steel 'l' keys that are more ergonomic that reduces the amount of torque being applied to stop them breaking.

Q: can you lock it without the key inserted?

No, it needs the key to lock. This is good as it eliminates accidental locking if you are not in poccession of key.

Q: Will another lock that is the same open with the same key? I post my key and might have to buy another one

I’ve got two of this locks, and both came with different keys.

Q: Is this lock good enough for a motorcycle or is it more a pushbike lock

Is more for pushbike locker. For motorcycle I would suggest a bit bigger one.
