can i use this on my knee

Whilst you can, it is a little large and ungainly being quite flexible, really meant for a table top. It does include 2 smaller panels and these, say for 500 pc puzzles could be used with care on the knees. It is an excellent piece of kit though and highly recommended if you are a serious puzzler. Hi - it is possible to balance on your knee when you;re nearing the end of a 1000pc puzzle, but you wouldn't be able to use the sorting trays when you were early in the puzzle and had lots of piecs left. A tabe is best.
