does anyone get like a bump in there mouse pad, i would like know as mine has in a year not sure if buy this again or go with another brand

I thought it was just me but I also have a bump in the middle of my mouse mat. This makes it uncomfortable to use. Looks like I will have to try another brand.

how thick is the mat (not the wrist pad)?

The gel pad is about 1.5cm thick and the mouse area about 5mm thick. It's not a bad product, been using for about 4 weeks and it's help with my RSI on my wrist

What is the outer material? Any rubber or latex?

im not sure... its a smooth non-fabric like. It is also not sticky like latex.

When using it does it ever make a like squeeky noise like leather etc does. Im buying it for someone who is sound sensitive. Thanks

no it does not make a noise like leather as it is gel filled on the wrist support to be honest i find the fabric cover ones better gel is cold on the wrist sometimes and quite hard but you get used to it if your friend is sound sensitive obviously when you move mouse around on surface it makes a scratching type sound as surface is not fabric hope this helps !!
