What is so special about this card you cannot follow the $1600 msrp?

Nothing. Its a good card but doesn't stand heads above it's competition to justify this price. Most have purchased this card because it was one of the few that stuck with MSRP while other manufacturers jacked their price. Some will say that the Gigabyte Gaming OC 4090 is as good if not a little better than this card.

What satisfaction do you get from selling graphics cards to actual customers for 50 percent more than the msrp? go out of business, fast

Why is this $1600 video card being sold for almost $2600? scalping!

Ticket scalping is illegal and I push to make this illegal as well.

Has the fire hazard issue with the 12vhpwr connector bin fixed?

The last info I remember reading - the issue was with the 4 -> 1 cable they ship with the card. This cable is poorly made and one or more of the solder connections can easily be damaged by bending the cable, which then causes the parts of the cable that still carry current to overheat. My suggestion is to buy one of the new crop of power supplies (a few available now, some coming soon) that have a specific single connector for this card, without needing the dumb ugly bulky 4->1 cable.
