Gerber Evo Multi Tool

I’ve used this product for several years now and have taken it everywhere I go. It’s very handy to have in a pinch when there’s something you need to cut or screw. Have taken it on numerous weekends away to Dartmoor and used it rain when I’ve needed to. The blade still has an edge and the grips still have teeth after all these years which is a plus. Only issue I can see is the scissors sometimes slip off the spring rail and then you fail to cut. Other than that great product to have, would recommend.

Excellent bit of kit for a reasonable price. Enough gadgets to keep a bloke happy during the day when his own tools are not handy. Blades sharp. Good job. Update. After 2 years this multi tool is still in mint condition and razor sharp. The Velcro fastener however has declined and a new leather pouch is proving hard to find.

Needed a multi tool for my camera bag although I confess to using the bottle opener the most. This one does everything I need. It is extremely well made, very solid and weighty. It has 8 tools within the handles. I haven't used the serrated blades yet but the small scissor and screw drivers do their jobs well. Each of the tools locks into position when fully extended and can withstand a lot of force - I haven't had one slip or come unlocked. It does require both hands to close back the extended tool. One to push the slider which is quite stiff and not easy (hence 4 stars) and the other to move the tool. The handles fold over the pliers to make the whole tool quite small and compact. It comes with a canvas holder with a flip over top retained with a Velcro strip. This just sits in my bag but it does have a Belt loop if you want to carry it around on your person. It is a very good value product and unless I lose it I doubt I will ever need to buy a replacement.

I bought this for my dad as a Christmas present and he loved it. It has plenty of different tools. Great for camping or keep it in your car in case of any emergency. He loves it. It's good value for your money.

Feels solid. A bit too solid. Bulky, heavy and tight. Blades are small, but pliers are good. I owned Leatherman Charge XTI and TTI before. They were superior in about every way, but also considerably more expensive. Leatherman is a bit smaller and gives a better grip than Gerber. I believe Gerber works fine and if my hands were larger (my glove size is about 7,5) I would not have any problems using this product.

Well built, quality materials and functional. I use this everyday, be it and work, camping, in the garage or garden. You can buy cheaper but you won't get the quality and durability of this handy wee tool.

The tool itself is great, it’s a pity the pouch it comes with is so poor. After a week the pouch starts to fall apart i unfortunately lost my Gerber.

At a premium price you get a rather common product. The build quality is good, but the material used is easily dent. Too bad I did not have the time to return it. Bad expensive choice.
