As she wasn't watching at the time, I tried them on my wife's fuchsia plants first :-), before attacking my very expensive Bonsaii trees. The secateurs are fairly small (165mm, about 6 inches in old money), but very sharp, so will be perfect for work on Bonsaii trees. Having podgey fingers they are useful to me for getting in for dead heading and light foliage cutting. They are long enough to get into a plant without damaging it.
