They are fairly sturdy, the only concern would be the plastic plugs that fix the seat to the legs might become brittle over time, but they are also screwed on, so should not be a massive issue. Same height as a dining chair so no one left like they are sitting in a hole. Store on top of each other so don't take up a lot of room when not in use.
