A geat bath toy, really packs in the fun
I always wonder why there are so few bath toys on the market. Boats are a staple of the bath-time fun but this is probably the best one I've come across. The boat has two people, a dolphin, and a removable diving platform. The boat flips open to reveal a lower deck with a fishing area. The diving platform can sit in this, although my children usually have it on the side of the bath. The platform is great, you place on of the people on it, push a satisfying little button and the figure dives brilliantly. A lot of these sort of toys just don't live up to expectations (remember the "diving" man from the old Mousetrap game - did anyone ever get him to dive successfully?). The boat also doubles as a jug which pours water from a spout at the prow. With the wealth of detail to explore it keeps my 2 year old entertained. The combination of characters and sticker pictures on the boat gives my 4 year old plenty of scope for his imagination to build narratives with. A great long lasting toy. Highly recommended.

Fantastic toy!
I bought this for my nephew for Christmas, he absolutely loves it! My sister has informed me he grabs this toy everytime it's bath time, even now, 7 months later. This is unusal as children tend to get bored of toys very quickly. He loves the diving element to it, and it seems to hold his attention for ages. It is very robust, having gone through some serious bashing. My sister is very impressed with me and very pleased I bought it, I definately recommend this, if you have a one/two year old to buy a gift for.

Best bath toy yet!
Bath toys are often a disappointment, but not this one. This is the only bath toy that has created storytelling and imaginative play in our bath - my daughter has just turned 2. The diving platform button is chunky and she can easily work it herself - she giggles loudly every time they dive. The boat opens up when it is "picnic time" and the characters can sit at the map table to eat marmite sandwiches... Great toy, well worth it.

Great bath toy
Just got this for my 17 month old daughter as her other bath toys were getting a bit boring and she loves it! She is able to open and close the boat and put water into it then pour it out. The little figures are fun and the diving board is great, although it's providing me with more entertainment at the moment as she hasn't figured out how to press the button yet! I like toys that are fun for her now, but that will still be interesting for her as she gets older and this seems to me to be one of them.

Brilliant item
Pleased to have found a bath toy that functions as it's described, yes a boat that actually floats!! In the past I have bought boats for my daughter to play in the bath only for them to sink in no time as they let water in and made them sink or others wouldn't be stable and just flip over all the time! I'm pleased to say this product stays afloat, is very good quality and looks good to. Others toys out there for bath time seem to be of poor quality but pleased to say this is one of the better one's.

Great WOW toy for the bath
Another wonderful WOW toy. If you have seen any other wow toy you will know what to expect with this toy and you won't be disappointed. Built well, good design allows lots of imaginative play. No batteries required and it can be played with in the bath. We have a lot of wow toys that have been in heavy daily use for years now. They are robust and a joy the play with.

Best present ever!
I find that bath toys are actually quite hard to come by. A lot of them are very babyish and there is not much else. This boat is brilliant, with two characters and a dolphin. The diving board is great, really pings them off. My nephew was round visiting me for the day when I gave it to him, he couldn't wait to have a bath and play with it. He played with it out of the bath too. I lost count of how many times he told me he loved it! A very happy 4 year old and a very happy me!

More like a submarine than a boat....
I've bought a few Wow Toys products before and generally been pretty pleased, this one... not so much. Firstly I bought it on sale for £7, about half it's normal price. If I'd paid more than £14 for it I'd have been a little annoyed. Secondly, my 4yo son liked it and played with it in the bath for about an 45 minutes. So what's the problem? Well, as many critical reviewers have already noted, the boat gets swamped very easily when my son plays with it, so it fills with water and sinks under the water. It's natural position seems to be pointing about 45 degrees upwards with the bow just beneath the water and the stern a few inches deeper. It sinks because the water scoop pouring "feature" lets water in too easily and it sinks. To me this seems "pour" design [excuse the pun]. In contrast, I haven't noticed this with the Green Toys Tugboat which is very similar in concept but doesn't sink all the time in the same way. So for £7 it's not too bad for a "one-hit wonder"; but because of it's poor design I doubt it has much staying power.

Gifted to a one year old and this toy is a little advanced for that age but the three year old loved it. Only thing - it does fill up with water which toddler can empty on own once they are shown how. Highly recommend this bath toy.
