It just does what it's meant to. Blue tooth to the app gives all the information you need about the battery status, and how the solar panel is performing.

Got this for a plug in solar panel for my campervan, cheap and effective and easy to install. Well built product.

Took minutes to install and setup, I have a 48v / 275w solar panel and a bank of 12v / 110amp hour batteries in parallel and this 75/15 copes well. It is so easy to control my system lights my back garden with the street light function every night I would recommend it to anyone .

I upgraded from a PWM charge controller and to my surprise, the battery voltage started dropping. It turns out, my single 120W panel on a cloudy winter day doesn't rise to the 17V necessary to power on the Victron MPPT charging circuit most days. So, in the dead of winter I was actually getting better performance from the PWM because at least it was putting in some power every day even if it was only a trickle. YMMV, but having ordered the BlueSolar I actually received the SmartSolar with an incorrect stock label on it. I appreciate the Bluetooth monitoring function that the SmartSolar has (and which the BlueSolar does not)

Basically useless without the Bluetooth dongle, but absolutely great with it. I originally planned on just using this with the jumper link, but for some reason it thought my 12v battery was 24v and started to overcharge. I then bought the Bluetooth dongle and input the settings manually and it has been fantastic since, but i think it should be made clearer how important it is to also have the Bluetooth dongle.
