Yeah should be fine, i used it to protect ink from smudging on card, and it provided a coating that protected everything from smudge, so if that's what you mean then yes.

I have a brywax bar top that needs protection can i use this product?

Well I used it on the walnut dash in my 1967 Wolseley Hornet and I have had a lot of comments saying how good it looks, But it does not appear to have a gloss finish, just makes the would look natural, so if you need a gloss finish this may not be what you need,

I used this matt to do interior woodwork and it's great . Unfortunately I don't still have the tin so am not sure if it's waterproof..sorry. It didn't dry sticky so maybe the worst that could happen is it needs doing every year . It certainly improved the wood I put it on .
