My tiny little 3lb Yorkie is getting old. She will be 14 in January. She has always been a bit of a sickly dog, throwing up and loose stools, and quite fussy with her food. She has also always been very skinny. When she was younger this wasn't too much of a problem, but recently her hips, spine and ribs have become visible and obvious to the touch. She's not unwell, she's just old and doesn't eat enough to maintain her weight anymore. So I picked up some of this stinky, sticky paste! I've been giving her a pea sized amount on my finger a few times a day, just when she wakes up to toilet and would otherwise have a little snack, and it's helped encourage her to eat afterwards on occasion, although still not in the mornings. She has never eaten in the mornings, but now she doesn't have to! I do sometimes need to put it directly on her tongue as she's not interested at all, but again this isn't new for us. It's quite sticky and smells like meat and malt, which isn't unpleasant but it does linger. Definitely something you need to be able to wash your hands after giving. I don't know exactly how many calories are in this, but she is definitely putting weight back on, which started just a week after introducing this to her diet. It's most evident around her ribs which I'm not worried about getting my finger stuck underneath anymore, and on her spine which feels much less nobbly than it did! Value for money is a hard one to decide, because for me with my tiny dog, the tube will last maybe a month with how regularly I'm giving it to her? I think that's excellent for the price. For someone with a much bigger dog, it may be cheaper to get a prescription from a vet!

This paste is useful to help cat regain it's appetite. I would only use for cats who need bringing back to health or off their food for a period. If your cat is off their food it may be the food itself which doesn't agree with them. If you feed any mammal sugars it will increase insulin in their body and make them hungrier.. If you have a sugary/ high carbohydrate breakfast you will probably be hungrier than you would if you had a high protein diet. So in that way this will stimulate appetite and is very helpful for cats in dire health situations who will not eat at all. It does have some useful added vitamins but I would not use this as a daily supplement for regular healthy cats.. just in times when cats are either ill or off their food. Cats need meat and that means meat. I recommend speaking to a holistic cat nutritionist who can advise on a whole food balanced natural diet. But for very poorly felines and stressed cats off their food this is useful for short periods.

Don’t work right away took a few days but after tht everything seemed fine he had more energy seemed happier and I heard less gurgling in his stomach

My 13 yr old girl has been stressed using the little box for a while now and there has been some blood in her pee. Combined with another product and a calming tablet this has worked straight away for her. It is meant to do something to the urine to make it easier to pass and so it doesnt sting. The paste is a meaty based flavour which my cat is happy to eat along with her other tablets in some cream cheese. I assume the taste is acceptable because she leaves the plate clean. It gets to the point of the day I'm going to prepare it and she starts asking for it. The size of tube is okay but there isn't enough to cover the money for me but when something is working I am happy to buy more. This seems very effective as shes only been on it a week and already her experience in the littler box has improved with no little accidents around the house. I do recommend using this not only as an immediate treatment but also as a maintenance dose because it worked,

Unfortunately my cat refuse to eat it. Tried different ways but its a no for het. Was hoping for a good solution

Acheté pour mon vieux chat de 16 ans qui fait beaucoup pipi et parfois hors de la litiere. Genre canapés ou lits... 😌Tous les chats ont des soucis de vessie et urinaires en vieillissant. Contient de la canneberge, utilisée aussi chez les femmes pour kes cystites. Et du malt ce qui lui donne ce côté pateux et marron. Du coup j'alterne un jour avec Beaphar boules de poil et celui ci. N'a pas l'air de déplaire à mon chat. À voir dans la durée son efficacité. Prix un peu cher mais ce produit semble venir d'Angleterre et le tube est assez gros.

Aucun intérêt , ne fonctionne pas sur ma chienne de 10 mois . Par contre , elle adore et les mange comme des friandises mais continue à manger ses crottes

Very happy with this product. If you have a cat that tends to develop struvite crystals in its urine which can cause a life threatening blockage , then this is an excellent product to try . Highly recommended .
