Monument Tools Autocut® Copper Pipe Cutter - 1715C 15mm

Now I know why I should buy a decent quality item in the first place. The quality and functionality of these compared to cheap copies is like night and day. It literally cuts the pipe in 5 seconds, vs a cheap one I have where I am trying for several minutes. Brilliant item, really impressed

Having owned the 22mm version for a considerable time i finally ordered the 15mm version. Other makes and models literally threaded the pipe at times, you could never rely on a clean cut. Every cut is perfect, easy to use in confined spaces or just generally. Good brand and product

I already had a pipe cutter, which must be at least 30 years old. I thought a replacement was due. When I used these for the first time I thought, “wow, game changer!” They are very effective, easy to use, sharp and easy to get into tight spaces.

Sturdy and cuts cleanly. Feels like it will last. Comes with extra wheel blade.

Great cuter at a fair price.

Pros: doesn't track along the pipe and cuts straight away, no force required, presentable clean cuts, ideal for confined spaces. Spare cutter wheels widely available. 40+ cuts on the original wheel and no obvious performance reduction. Cons: not a negative, but be aware you still need at least 25mm behind pipes close to walls to rotate the cutter. I don't do masses of plumbing and have always made do with cheaper generic pipe cutters that tend to track up the pipe and leave a messy finish. These are instead quick and no fuss which entirely justifies the price.

Great tool as described

Had to replace a section of pipe running along an outside wall but was almost out of reach. I could not use a hack saw or conventional cutter but this did the job perfectly with little effort. Great tool for those awkward cuts of pipe.
