Just wondering what this is doing in Vegan gift ideas when it contains honey? Really?

Honey is a product bees create. Not a product from the bee. Think of it like this. If a monkey crushed up nuts and added a bit of oil. This makes peanut butter, a product created by the monkey. Not a product of the monkey. I am only veggie. But many of my vegan friends use honey. It's all about how sensitive you really want to be.

Does it contain alcohol

No. If the ingredients lists alcohol, its a fatty alcohol, not the same as a simple alcohol, like ethanol. Fatty alcohols are used in alot of skincare. They aren't drying on the skin, and are used as emollients.
