How do you prep a textured sheetrock wall before applying Smart Tiles for a kitchen backsplash?

Thank you for your interest in our product Smart TIles.
Sheetrock walls have to be prepared before you install a Smart Tiles peel and stick backsplash. First, you have to level the surface and fill the holes with plaster.  The surface must be smooth, sleek and without texture.  Then, you must apply a primer on the wall. When it is completely cured (72 hours) the tiles may be installed.

How big of a space does 1 sheet cover?

Each line is 3 tiles long and measures 9 and 1/4 inches total.  Each sheet has 6 lines and this measures about 9 and 1/2 inches.  Each line is offset from the one below so it's not an easily measured square.  If you are calculating square footage, the label reads 0.74 sq.ft. per tile.  Hope that helps.
