These are the best tampons that are good for the environment. No plastic to get rid of and the tampons are hypoallergenic due to being organic, unbleached and no nasties that go into the more well- known brands. Totally recommend and affordable.

The tampon itself is fine and is a good alternative to chemical laden ones, but the applicator sticks so it can be hard to insert properly. I've had to bin a couple for this reason which makes them less the good value. I've found another organic brand that are easier to use, but I would buy Natracare again if I couldn't get hold of the other ones. Edited to add: Having now used these tampons for a few months I've altered my rating to 5 stars. They are just as good as anything I've used before. And having now understood that if you twist the tube slightly, it allows the inner tube to push up far easier I have no problems with inserting them. Yes cardboard will always be a bit harder to use than plastic applicator tampons. But knowing that the cardboard will decompose a huge amount faster than plastic in landfill makes it worth it. These are brilliant, highly recommend them and give them a chance to get used to them if you're switching from plastic applicator ones...it's worth it!

I wanted to try a more natural tampon product than the products offered in the supermarkets which are often bleached and harmful to ph levels. I found this brand and am so glad I did- the product is great, it’s soft and comfortable to wear, just as good as others with the added benefit of being better for the environment. Will definitely continue to buy these and recommend.

Iv been using these a while now . They are value for money and I like that they do not contain harsh chemicals and other products. The applicators are made of white cardboard Esther then plastic which is great for the environment. The only thing I would say in terms of usability, is that occasionally, due to the non plastic applicators, they can be a little fiddly but Iv had no major issues and will continue to use them. Great product.

I love these products, the only sanitary product that is comfortable to use. However the reason for my 3 stars is based on delivery & the chosen carrier. Not exactly how you want sanitary products to be delivered. Hoping the items inside are still suitable.

I have a Luna cup but sometimes I have ultra-sensitive days where I want nothing at all touching my lady bits. These tampons are for those days. No meticulously scrubbing hands like a surgeon about to operate, before folding a piece of round silicone into an origami swan and shoving it up my tender hoo-ha. No gritting my teeth while cramming an applicator-free hunk of compressed cotton into an angry orifice. I used to use the Natracare applicator-free tampons but then one day I was caught off guard without one. A co-worker gave me a conventional tampon with a plastic applicator and it went in so silky smooth and effortlessly that I ALMOST went back to using a chemical sh!+-filled brand. Thankfully Natracare makes their applicators with the soft-tip for easy insertion. My ONLY gripe is that 'dispatch' sometimes requires two hands because the applicator jams. I'm no engineer, but there's GOT to be a better release method than what the current design allows. I mean, it's essentially 2 very narrow nesting toilet paper tubes, and you push one into the other. The mechanism jams often enough that I'd rate these a 4 and conventional plastic applicators a 5 based on ease of use and sheer comfort. If tampons were cars, conventional plastic applicators would be Ferraris and Natracare applicators are Hyundais. Yes, both will get me from point A to B, but one will be a LOT more enjoyable of an experience! I'm giving Natracare 5 stars because I don't want baby sea turtles to choke on plastic tampon applicators. Natracare seems to be the only choice for an earth-friendly, chemical-free tampon with an applicator. It's a nearly perfect product and I've been buying from this company for years. The old design had no soft tip, so that's a HUGE improvement. Most of the time these work just fine. I get at least 1 'failure to launch' dud every month. I don't have to throw it away, but I have to take it out and give it an extra push to get started, then coax it back in. It's mildly uncomfortable, but it IS a first-world problem.

I love the Natracare Organic tampons. They are absorbent and work great. I feel safe using them because they are free of toxic chemicals and fragrances. I have MCAS do its very important to me to know that the products i use are safe.

I love these tampons. They stopped carrying them at the one grocery store that has been carrying them. Finding 100% organic tampons is hard. This is the one brand I trust. I'm glad Amazon now has a good deal on these tampons. I like that I could buy a 3 pack. I would like to add that I have gone back and forth between these tampons and regular brands full of chemicals and whenever I go back to natracare my cramps are hardly noticeable! Otherwise with other brands I have to take Advil to relieve my cramps. These tampons are amazing and worth spending a few extra bucks on to get a 100% organic Tampon with zero chemicals. Don't fear the cardboard applicator. It's really easy to use! (That's coming from a person (me) who use to have a fear of cardboard ones in the past)
