I'm going to describe my skin type in case it helps anyone else thinking of trying this. I guess my skin would be described as normal/dry but not dry in the sense of like patches of dry skin...more in that it feels tight a lot of the time so I'm more inclined to describe it as dehydrated. I also have sensitive skin and although I don't suffer from spots or breakouts I will get an odd red blemish if I am sensitive or allergic to an ingredient or product. I'm also in my mid 40's so do have a few wee fine lines so am super careful not to use anything that will settle into them or highlight them. Ok that's out of the way now I really wanted to try this...I have the Benefit Pore Professional and I have read that this is a dupe for that. The BPP works great but I'm not crazy about the price as I wear a full face of make up every day so thought this will be a great cost effective replacement if it works. I have found this also has that silicone feel and a little goes a long way and I have found the best results from this hav been achieved when rather than applying it like a moisturiser I first concentrate on the areas I feel need it first...I have a few enlarged pores around my nose and of course the fine lines around the corners of my eyes so I take a little and press it into these areas gently...sort of like filling in the pores and lines and then blend out from these areas to lightly cover the rest of my face. This method of applying it works so well for me and it does give the impression of blurring out those lines and pores and even before applying my foundation my skin is already looking and feeling smooth. Using this as a base has also cut in half how much foundation I used to apply....instead of 2~3 pumps I only need to use 1~2 at most, foundation applies so beautifully and using this primer I have been able to achieve a flawless and smooth face which is every bit as good as using the BPP. My face looks even and I don't get that tight, dry feeling throughout the day so I think its also helping to lock in my serum and moisturiser. I don't need to touch up during the day and blusher/bronzer are still in place. I'm enjoying this primer very much...if the silicone feel doesn't bother you I'd give it a try if you are thinking about it, just remember a little goes a long way. I'm not sure how this would control oil shine if you have oily skin though...I can imagine it would give some oil control. I have used many primers including Laura mercier, Clarins, BPP, etc and this works brilliantly for me so I'd definitely recommend trying it especially if you have a similar skin type. i did not erase my pores, but i love the way it feels. So buttery smooth! Ahhh! Incredible feeling. It also make applying foundation especially cream ones a cake walk. I only keep reaching out for it for its feeling. Transparent gel consistency which disappears within a flash on the skin. What it leaves behind is an incredibly smooth texture. If you have rough skin, there is none other product that can beat this. I have porous skin and liquid foundations accentuate how terrible they look. Since liquid foundation will sit on top of this silicone-y icing, it reduces the appearance of pores, or fine lines, or texture to a little extent. In my case, I am in my early 30s, so it just about saves my life. Budget friendly, and skin friendly too. Does not clog up the pores and no breakouts from it either. Very gentle product. As for the priming effect, it is excellent. Foundation does not change its tone when using along with this. Sometimes, primers tend to make foundations look lighter than they are, but this one not. Silicone is an excellent binder, so foundation has a better grip with this one. So all in all, nothing much to crib about. Suits perfectly for younger skin, like below 35ish. Mature skin needs more help with regards to pores and fine lines and texture which this baby is not up to.

Not sealed which is not great but product itself is good. Easy to use and very soft on the face. Made my face smoother for sure and the pores less noticeable.

Was dubious of using this as my pores have been huge for years now and not even due to spots. They just don’t seem to “close” and blend in. Although it’s a very small tube, the price is reasonable enough to “stock up” on. You don’t need more than 10p size amounts. It goes on easily, not oily. No overpowering smell or (like I normally get with moisture/wrinkle creams) it doesn’t give me a slight burning sensation. It gives a feeling of a powdery, sleek finish but it doesn’t look shiny or come back off onto fingers, skin or clothes. It’s just literally the feeling. I’ve used it after cleaning my face just before bed for 2 days now and my pores already look like they are “fading” my 8 year old daughter, after the first application actually asked the next morning “what have you put on your face? It looks smoother” (??!!!) I will definitely be stocking up on this product to use morning and night time. I’ve even noticed the fine lines in corners of my eyes have completely gone. (Definitely wish I took before picture to show difference! 😩) I also have one deep crease on side of chin that’s fading too. Very long story short……. BRILLIANT 🤩

I have bought this product before and really liked it. The reason i have given it less stars on value for money is because it was so firm you couldn’t squeeze it out of the tube. I wasted a lot of it as my thumb joints are not as strong as they used to be. This is the second tube i have had like this, so maybe the ingredients have changed or maybe they were just not stored correctly. I also felt that it left a bit of a crumbly feel on my skin which i have never had before. This review is just based on the two tubes i have had, prior to this i loved it, it was really soft and gave a lovely feel and look to the skin

Leaves my skin feeling very soft but doesn't help my makeup stay on all day . I have yet to find a primer that can to be honest. Good value for a primer.

It's a primer. Use after moisturizing, a tiny bit, let it dry, then follow up with foundation. It reduces the appearance of pores and gives a nice matte look, after hours still face looks matte. It keeps the foundation stay put, increases the staying power of foundation. It's a affordable version of benefit porefessional. I tried it for the first time and I really like it. For reference I have used Mac studio fix liquid, compact , Maybelline dream wonder, Revlon color stay and Bobbi brown foundations stick over it and has worked for all.

I absolutely love this! I have used so many that were not helping. I have very big pores! AGHHHHHHH! I tried so many of the big name make up companies and paid a lot of money to always be let down. I really had decided that either it was hopeless or I was going about this all wrong! I wish I could remember how I came across this but I do remember when I saw the price, I said, "it's worth a shot!" When I first put it on I was like yeahhhhh! It's working! But then I said perhaps its all in my head! So I did a test! I put half on one side and compared! Then just to be sure I did it again the next day and asked my girlfriend which side looked smoother. She said definitely that one (the side with this one)! Since I have been using it I now get many compliments on my face! If you read my reviews I am not one to exaggerate. Due to some acne when I was young there are just some spots this does not hide completely. This is not a miracle cure fix all. I just wanted a smoother looking face and this did the trick much better than anything I have tried. My foundation and powder now looks so smooth. Those days of being so jealous of the other girls who had that smooth look are over. I have read many in the reviews who said it was greasy feeling. In a way I understand what they are describing. I have very oily skin ( I guess that why I have such huge pores). But this does not feel greasy or oily at all to me. The best way I can describe it is like vaseline and I hate to say that because it is not like vaseline but as close as I can describe. I have found with make up the best way to do this so it does not clump up the foundation is to first clean your face real well then put it on. I make up my bed and feed my pets to let it dry so to speak. After that it will hold make up pretty good. I put my foundation and concealer and eye shadow on top of it! My eye shadow is paint on and it does not do well with this so I am going to try to some powder eye shadow that will work with this. (anyone got any suggestions-using a yellow and pink that is not very expensive?) But really this has dramatically improved my face and I am so very happy! Ich nutze diesen Primer nun schon seit 3 Jahren und habe es zig Mal nachgekauft. Ich habe zuvor viele andere Marken benutzt und nichts war bis jetzt besser als das. Ich habe trockene Haut, bei mir funktioniert die Base sehr gut. Ich nutze davor eine Tagescreme und erst da diese Base. Es hat eine Vaseline ähnliche Konsistenz. Lässt sich super gut auftragen. Man braucht wirklich nur ganz wenig davon. Ich habe sensiblen Haut vertrage es sehr gut. Das Make Up sieht damit ebenmäßiger aus und hält länger. Ich bin sehr zufrieden damit und werde auch bei diesem Produkt bleiben.
