One For All Essence TV Universal remote control - Perfect TV replacement remote for all types of Televisions (LED, LCD, Plasma) - Guaranteed to work all TV brands – Black – URC 7110

Got this as a Hail Mary shot, kind of expected disappointment - but I'm staggered at how easy the setup was AND frankly the quality of the remote is ridiculously good, especially for the £12 or so it cost me. Very good job, One For All people! 32" Toshiba LCD TV acquired from close family moving house recently, no remote supplied though. Unknown TV model, no sticker on the back to tell me. Here's all I had to do to get this new remote to work 100% with it: Power up the TV. Hold down "MAGIC" key on remote for three seconds. Little blue light flashes. Hold down "0" key (0 is for the Toshiba codes, other 1-9 numbers are for other major brands, or there's a manual search mode for tons of less common brands) constantly until TV switches OFF. Let go of "0" key instantly. Done. Total time taken start to finish was under a minute, I s**t you not, it was THAT easy, and THAT quick. Now to clean this Tosh up and get it to my dear old dad for his televisual pleasure. Oh, you'll need 4 x AAA batteries for this remote, don't forget to buy some.

Firstly, it's a rather magnificent thing. Pleasant and sturdy in the hand, buttons of decent size spaced well apart: it looks and feels up-market. Secondly, while I had to go through lots of codes to get to the one for my parents' store brand TV, all - ALL - the buttons worked what they said: menu, guide, etc... FULL FUNCTIONALITY - which I've never encountered before. Thirdly, my parents haven't phoned to ask how to do anything; so I assume they not only are getting on well with it, but are finding easy to use. They are both nearly 90 with cognitive and eyesight problems, so I'd say that even at twice the price this remote would be worth buying even if the TV's remote isn't faulty. My point is that many TV remotes supplied with sets are cluttered and complicated, this one simply isn't. So if you aren't getting on with yours, replace it with this. Simples.

Got this because our remote stopped working, read the reviews and gave this a shot and really happy I did. Found it very easy to connect to the TV and looks sleek and smart. Instructions were a little confusing but I got the just of it in 2 minutes and it was connected in less and 1 minute. Can't fault at all and is good value for money. To connect to tv - hold the "magic" for 3 seconds. Then hold the number button which matches the brand of your TV as per the instruction manual (eg I held down the number 6 button as we have a Samsung tv). You hold this until your tv switches off, which means the remote has connected to the tv. If you hold the number button down for 30 seconds and it hasn't switched off, try from the start again.

This is a well constructed remote and feels of much better quality than many of the other cheap replacement remotes. It is very easy to get the basic functions set up so that you can replace a lost or broken remote as long as your TV is one of a short list of popular makes. The fairly short manual,which looks bigger than it really is because it is in fact only about three pages replicated in 20 languages, will also explain how to enter a device code for the less popular brands and worst-case a search method which simply forces the remote to keep trying until it finds one. But you will find that the limited selection of keys available compare to the original remote means that some key functions are simply not present. On my Samsung TV these were the DTV button is enabled Freeview to be selected as the source and more importantly the digital menu (D.MENU) button that brought up the menu in which one of the key functions was the retuning of the digital channels. There is a solution for this but there is no mention of it in the manual. You will have to do your own research online or contact support at OneForAll to find out how you can program individual keys. There are not many spare keys on this remote but there are a few and so I was able to reprogram these to get me back the DTV and digital menu functions. So now I am very pleased with this purchase.

When my Tv controller stopped working it left me being unable to use my Tv at all - I needed a controller/remote that would work well (not like the old universal ones that looked more the size of a DVD case than anything else). I ordered this one based on the great reviews and wow I am not disappointed. I put in the first code I could find on Google for my make of Tv - this worked and was so easy to do - just 4 digits. The controller buttons do all the functions, I needed to go to the menu 'worked', I needed to change the Av 'worked'. The controller also looks and feels well made and normal size (not out of place). I really do recommend this if you need a universal remote - also turned up 2 days before scheduled which was great. My advice to all that are asking "will this work with my Tv ..." - just get it as I believe its something like a 90 percent chance it will work.

Bought this as a replacement for the one that came with the TV as some of the buttons were getting worn out. Got to say it worked first time and is a great replacement. However, there is a small "but". Certainly all the main functions are there, on/off, channel change, volume, guide etc but you may find, as I have, that you still need the original remote for some functions, e.g., the digital tuning/preferences menu on older TV's with both analogue and digital menus. Should be fine with those that are solely digital though.

Easy to install, I skipped straight to the codes which unfortunately did not work, I then did an auto scan and the remote did not change the TV to the correct channel. However, on the very first page there are set codes eg grundig (2) if I had looked at the very first page in the booklet and done this in the first place it worked straight away. The remote looks sleek, buttons are a nice clear size, it's shiny on the back which gives it a smooth feel. Five stars for the product. Zero stars for me attempting to change my remote for the first time. Got there in the end though. Would I recommend this product? Yes absolutely!

E’ S U P E R !!!! Davvero ottimo e si trovano davvero tutte le marche di televisori...! Io L ho preso per uno piccolo, marca più o meno sconosciuta e quindi avevo poche speranze .... ed invece trovata ! Funziona benissimo, di facile installazione e guida comprensibilissima. Insomma un Ottimo prodotto per chi necessita di un telecomando sostitutivo. Bello anche come design, maneggevole e linea essenziale ma completo di tutto !

J'ai des chiens rigolos qui aiment mettre un coup de croc... juste un seul... toujours au niveau de la LED.. comme ça télécommande foutue! C'est pour ça que j'ai une si grande expérience en télécommande universelle! Et croyez-en ma grande expérience, c'est la première que je programme aussi rapidement (genre 30sec le temps de tourner les pages de la notice!). Je suis raaaaviie! En effet j'ai une TV de marque pas connue (CHanghong) et c'est habituellement la croix et la bannière! La télécommande ma parait vraiment qualitative (elle tient bien en main et les finitions sont belles). et j'ai pu trouver très facilement comment accéder aux différents menus de ma TV. Je pense que c'est celle que je rachèterai au besoin (du coup d'après mes canidés... dans 6 mois environ!)

Bei unserem alten Sharp Fernseher (fast 7 Jahre alt) haben einige Tasten der Fernbedienung nicht mehr richtig funktioniert. Es musste also eine neue Fernbedienung her. Da wir mit dieser Fernbedienung nur den Fernseher bedienen, sollte es eine einfache "nur-TV-Fernbedienung" sein. Die URC 7110 erfüllt diese Anforderung. Wer hingegen mehrere Geräte bedienen will (Bluray Player etc.), der braucht ein anderes Modell. Material/Anmutung: Die Fernbedienung ist top verarbeitet, fühlt sich sehr wertig an, die Tasten vermitteln ein gutes Druckgefühl. Aufgrund der vier Batterien hat man auch ein gewisses Gewicht in der Hand. Sehr gut gefällt mir auch, dass die Fernbedienung nur die Tasten hat, die man zur TV-Bedienung braucht. Die alte war mit allen möglichen Tasten überladen, die wir nie genutzt haben. Programmierung/Installation: Über die Online-Suche habe ich in wenigen Klicks die Installationscodes für unseren TV gefunden. Die Einrichtung war in weniger als einer Minute durchgeführt, alles funktioniert! Support: Auf der Original Fernbedienung gab es zwei ähnliche Tasten: "Info" (=Uhrzeit, Sender) und "Programm Info" (=Inhaltsangabe zum laufenden Programm). Auf der URC 7110 gibt es nur eine Taste "Info". Diese war standardmäßig mit "Info" (=Uhrzeit, Sender) belegt. Ich hätte aber gerne die Programm Info auf dieser Taste gehabt. Daher habe ich den Kunden-Support von oneforall kontaktiert. Ergebnis: binnen 24 Stunden hat der Support mir ein pdf mit allen einzelnen Funktionscodes für unser TV-Gerät und Anleitung zur individuellen Tastenbelegung zugeschickt. Damit konnte ich die Info-Taste wunschgemäß belegen. Top! Firestick: Wir haben am TV noch einen FireStick angeschlossen. Die Taste "FAV" auf der Fernbedienung habe ich so belegt, dass diese direkt auf den FireStick wechselt. Der FireStick lässt sich bei uns mittels der CEC-Funktion des TV-Geräts (remote control pass through) auch über die URC7110 bedienen. Insgesamt kann ich die URC 7110 nur empfehlen. Top Gerät, preiswert, alle erforderliche Funktionen, nicht überfrachtet und super Kundendienst. :-)

Funciona perfecto con TV Oki. Ya tenía un mando de esta misma marca (One for All) que usaba en una TV Oki pero se me estropeó después de más de 7 años de uso. Probé 4 o 5 mando universales pero con ninguno funcionaban todos los comandos. Compré éste al ser de la misma marca que el anterior y sin problemas!!! Fácil de configurar y funciona todo perfectamente!!
