Assuming you purchased the correct memory card for your device. It is inserted into a memory card slot of your device. A new mobile phone or a tablet will accept the card without any problem. In a laptop or a camera, you will need an adapter. Turn off the device and insert the card into the slot and turn the device back on. Hopefully, the device will accept the card, its purpose is to expand the memory capability of your device. It can store photographs, videos, songs, apps etc. without using up the your device's internal memory which can be limited.

I don't have access to a Fire 7 but looking at the Fire 7 spec it says ' microSD memory card slot.' On this basis, this is a Micro SD Card and therefore it will fit and should work OK. I hope this helps.
