Excellent, can easily handle 2.5mm cable, very sharp & a quick snip. Very handy, speeds up the cable cutting process. Easy to store, small, easy to grip and hold, not stiff but sturdy, nicecdesign and highlycreccommended for professional electrician. Price the max i would pay but worth it in the end. Notvhad longvenough to comment on durability.

I wanted to break an old unwanted piece of heavy exercise equipment down, so l could more easily dispose of it in pieces, but after unscrewing everything I could, I was flummoxed by some heavy duty plastic coated wiring. I tried everything I could think of but, as an older woman, I didn't have the strength (or tools) needed to cut through the wires which was very frustrating. I turned to Amazon and bought these, expecting I'd have a bit of a struggle to use them. I was very pleasantly surprised when they snipped right through each wire with very little effort on my part. According to my trainee electrician daughter, these Aubon 150mm Cable Cutters are “fine” — which, coming from a 17-year-old, is basically the highest praise you’ll ever get. Good size, do the job, and apparently pass the sacred teenager test of “not rubbish.” If she’s happy, I’m happy — and that’s rarer than a tidy bedroom.

I bought these cable cutters for £8.99 and they’ve done the job well so far. They feel solid enough, with decent grip, and are comfortable to use even for a bit longer. I mainly used them on copper and aluminium cables and the cuts were clean without much effort. They’re small, so handy for tight spaces and easy to carry around. Not the most heavy-duty tool, but for basic tasks they’re perfectly fine. Good value for the price, especially with Prime delivery and returns included.

Not the most expensive tool on the market, so I was expecting the performance to be OK, and I was ready to send them back if not. However, I was pleasantly surprised. They aren't that big, about the size of a decent pair of pliers, so there is limited leverage. If you don't have a decent amount of hand strength, I would say get something with more leverage. However if you do have the strength, they are extremely efficient. Used them for cutting garden hanging cable and fencing wire. Quite confident you could use them to break out of a movie PoW camp if you needed to. Very effective, good price, go for it.
