Hi the navy all in one pod looks far lighter and more blue in colour than the old machine wash navy has anyone used the new navy?

I was concerned about this but found the new packaging was deceptive. Just used a navy pod to dye a french navy cotton shirt with bleach marks and got a really good, even dark navy finish. Very happy.

Will using three pods ruin my machine

No need to use 3? Use 1 for up to 600g of dry fabric. If you're doing 1800g of fabric, so need to use 3 then that's what you need to do. Follow instructions and put the clothes through a wash at the end with washing powder and fabric conditioner, that washes your machine too. But I did another rinse and spin cycle to be sure all dye was gone. And wiped around the rubber rim. Good luck. It is great as it had the salt in it so no weighing anything else.

How many pairs of jeans would I be able to have in one cycle? I have a few faded black jeans!

If it’s just a refresh of the same colour you can add more. I had half a wash load of faded black jeans when I did mine. They came out great.

Do the 'pods' replace the packet machine dyes? i've only ever used the packets so not sure which is better/if there's any difference

Problem with packets is that you have to buy the Dylon salt. The pods are are fantastic as they contain the salt.
