I don't know, we use it as a general disinfectant for our dog kennels and runs, but It does kill the grass as well at the strength we use it! We use a tablet form of this (virasure) in our Koi pond (1 tablet per 1000 gallons), so it is safe for plants but you need to test for the right strength.

Does it turn pink or yellow when diluted with water? is it made dupont or lanxess or chemours if you recently bought it??

Not sure what it is made up of but it turns pink when mixed when water
