ELEGOO UNO Project Basic Starter Kit

Great little starter kit and works a treat. However the manual comes on a CD and not sure how many people have one of those. I believe you can download the manual online. All in all good value.

This just a learning tool for me. This review is from a personal view and not an experience one. I am just trying my hand at various activity and I found this interesting and enjoyable. I wanted to make something that has a use albeit a limited one, but I have since found out these units are very versatile, so I have more learning to do. I have since purchased a book on how to program these units.

I bought this for my partner as a Christmas present and overall he's been very pleased with it. He's confirmed that the parts all seem to be good quality and that it's a good value for money kit. Things like the resistors being properly labelled have definitely been appreciated. He's been working through some of the online tutorials (They can be found very easily online) and been enjoying the kit a lot. The one disappointment was that it all came in a card board box rather than the plastic container. On checking, I did notice that there's now an image that says either the plastic box or the cardboard one are sent randomly, I didn't spot this when I made the order. The cardboard box is barely big enough to get every thing back in once you've been using it and has started to tear after a few uses necessitating the need to buy another organiser box to keep it all in. This is the reason for not giving a 5 start rating and to be honest, if I could have given a 3 1/2 start rating I would have done.

Works great for my college project, I am using this UNO R3 microcontroller to make a digital clock using Arduino to code the system, this works great and includes a breadboard, all the wires, extenders, and resistors that you need. it was instantly recognized when connected to my laptop on Arduino IDE, 10/10, would recommend.

I needed a simple prototyping platform to test some subcomponents ideas as part of a more complex project, delivered quickly and simple to set up and get going, using the supplied CD and guide to test the board and development platform. As a C# web developer, it did not take long to get my head back into c++, with a couple of extras purchases since (more stepper motors, servos, shields) the possibilities are endless. As a self-teaching platform, I am beginning to remember all my electronics from college days (some 35 years ago) without the expense of soldering up a stripboard, making PCBs etc.

Es ist gut zum lernen man hat alles drinne. Man kann auch wenn man nicht gut im Lesen ist es umsetzen ist es leicht verständlich und prinzipiell sehr, sehr gut beschrieben. Außerdem sind die wichtigsten Seiten direkt hinterlegt.
