Expensive I thought when I got this to accompany our mini waffle maker, but I thought I'd buy it as a one off and save myself time and avoid the mess. You get loads for your money so I'd recommend as it's worth it. It's worth it because the taste is great. Lovely consistency, easy to mix and cooks evenly and if I'm honest 'perfectly. I will be buying more of this in the future for sure. You can make your own mix at home im sure however, I'm really not sure you'd get such good consistency. I can't be sure as I've not yet tried and so will challenge and then write back on this as a taste challenge for the future. My teens created waffles for themselves and friends/family and all really enjoyed. Good fun stacking with fruit (strawberries, blueberries etc are great) with your fave ice cream.

I bought this mix as a waffle novice to go with a Waffle maker for a present. I just wanted a fuss free mix so i could focus on burning the mix rather than worrying about the level of ingredients! The Good & Very Good * The mix is in a high quality resealable pouch, a 1kg doesn't sound like a lot but in reality it is. * Instructions are easy to read and follow, add water and oil to the requisite amount of mix, whisk or mix, then pour into your cooking utensil whether its a waffle machine or stove press etc. * The waffles pictured were cooked for 5-6 minutes but cooking time is based on your own preference i guess and also the temperature of your machine. * Taste, texture and flavour were all spot on and well received by the recipient, am unsure if this was because it was her birthday and she was just being nice but as far as i know none ended up in the bin or the dog. The Could be better * The only tiny issue i had was the mix instructions dont give you any idea how much the prescribed amounts will cook. Again i understand that depending on your preference, the depth and size of your machine this is difficult for a mix manufacturer to assume. However there are only two reference points, 250g or 500g of mix. On first go i made a 250g batch as per the picture, as the machine was new i felt like more would better as the first batch was always going to go into the bin, which they did, not the maker or mix issue just that i burnt one side faffing about getting it level. As a tip i would say that 250g of mix would get you 6 waffles the size in the picture quite easily, i had throw some made up mix down the sink which was a shame but not a big issue. Overall for ease, presentation, storage and most importantly finished product this really is a great waffle mix, one star off for measurements but a minor problem. Makes amazing waffles! Four Stars.

Following the instructions the correct amount of oil 40g, water 230ml and this waffle mix 250g this will make 4 nice large waffles in a double square waffle maker. Nice and sweet but not sickly sweet. For the kilo bag this is, it makes 16 very nice square waffles.

I so enjoyed the waffles served up for breakfast on a visit to my daughter in law, that I bought a Belgian Waffle, Canapé and Cakes Maker - Party Pastry Maker. I bought the Efbe-Schlott make because it has 3 Interchangeable Baking Plates the plates remove for washing too. I made the traditional waffle recipe in the book first but found it to be a little heavy. I have later discovered that this was because I mixed it too vigorously. I bought this mix on a whim and it was next to be tried. The waffles came out light and slightly sweet. They were prefect. I worked it out that 1 kg bag made 64 of my 4x4" waffles. At first glance it appears an expensive purchase but I have done the maths . Using the dry mix (including the postage, it costs 0.07p per waffle. Taking into consideration the fact that you only need to find water and oil to make up the dry mix and that I never run out of these two ingredients, I decided that it was a very good buy. My favourite at the moment is to add a fresh apple chopped finely to the mixture and a ½ tsp of Cinnamon. Delicious!!

Bought 2 bags of this waffle mix on separate occasions, normally tastes nice and cooks lovely. We never mix the bag up, we just use it straight from the bag, anyway this second purchase was fine until we got to the bottom third of the bag and then it started mixing weird and didn't taste or cook the same. We had opened it around 6 weeks previously but kept sealed and dry and it's never been a problem before, we just don't know what happened. We might purchase again to see if this happens again but if it does then it will be the last purchase. Shame cos it is a nice mix previously, not as good as the shops but still nice

Für die schnelle Zubereitung sicherlich gut. Die Lieferung war schnell und das Paket kam in einem ordentlichen Zustand an. Ich habe aber noch keinen Gebrauch davon gemacht. Ist auch als Reserve vorgesehen.

Très contente de ce produit. Il permet de faire des gaufres exceptionnelles, légères, croustillantes et délicieuses ! Et en plus ce mix est d’un facilité déconcertante à utiliser. Juste parfait

Premetto che non ho mai mangiato waffle prima di poco tempo fa ed ho acquistato la macchinetta e il preparato piu per curiosità ... Che dire ! I waffle vengono perfetti, buoni, con poca fatica e tempo perche aggiungi solo acqua e olio e mescoli. Ogni mattina si possono fare i waffle anche se si ha poco tempo
