Avon Skin So Soft Original Dry Oil Body Spray with Jojoba 150 ml - Pack of 2

I am always the first to get bitten! Last year I had a really bad bite on my leg and it was gross massive swollen red lump (sounds like my ex!) but this stuff works amazingly! Not once this summer, for the first time in years, have I even been nibbled once! Telling the truth I felt a bit ignored! In all seriousness this has a beautiful light scent, nothing overpowering but still really delightful (kind of like a sweeter baby talc smell but nicer!) it rubs in beautifully, no greasy skin leftovers, you just feel moisturised, clean and fresh, and the added bonus being it has the citronella in that keeps the bugs at bay! I bought this as I won a trip to Florida (of all the times to win a trip to the States lol) and I was worried about the bites...not a single one. Love this stuff, and lasts for ages! I was using it twice a day all over for two weeks and I still have over 3/4 of the bottle left. Its my new favourite moisturiser! Plus the price is amazing!

As someone who attracts every "vampire" insect as a keen gardener and outdoor person, I dread this time of the year as they all think I'm a gourmet meal and are attracted to me. I've been using this Avon skin so soft Jojoba spray for years after having it recommended to me. I can honestly say this is the best natural, deet free repellent spray available. Unlike traditional mosquito repellent sprays this one has a lovely fresh fragrance that is easy to wear unlike the regular sprays that smell of chemicals or citronella. This Skin so Soft also has the added benefit of moisturising your skin at the same time as keeping the pesky blighters away. As a totally unscientific test I decided to spray one of my legs with Skin so Soft and leave the other untreated to see if indeed the insects kept away while I worked in the garden. As you’ll see from my photo, the untreated leg is swollen and the other is normal. I realise this could all be just chance but seeing as I’ve used this spray for years and the only time I get bitten is when I forget to use it. For me this product is invaluable, however the price is actually cheaper than most dedicated mosquito repellent sprays.

Why did you choose this product over others?: I know everyone raves about it and I wanted to love it BUT it’s not a dry oil. You can very clearly feel it on and it turns your floor into an ice rink. Couldn’t send back as I’ve used it but have been spraying it into an after sun and using it that way. On a positive note it is very moisturising but just not for me. Update! Took on holiday as everyone talked about its protective properties against bites. Have to say I’m really impressed by that. Only four bites in four weeks in Majorca and usually I’m bitten a lot. They also usually come up like hives and this year they haven’t! Still don’t like its texture but when used with aftersun it’s bearable but to be bite free I’d use it….even got the hubby using it!

Love this product. It's an oil, but doesn't feel like it - dries really nice on your skin, makes it feel so smooth. And it stops the Scottish midgies from biting !! I love Avon skin so soft, for holidays mainly. The dry oil doesn't leave you feeling greasy or sticky. It's spray bottle is easy to use and It stops the mosquitos bitting, smells lovely and leaves skin feelinglovelyand aoft. Fast delivery and good price.

I highly recommend this product as a mosquito repellent. It's not greasy and smells wonderful. I have been using it for years as a moisturizer.
