I suffer that problem on a 77 mm diameter 12-28 mm zoom using only the shallow filer holder (holds just a single Cokin filter) on top of the skylight filer I usually leave on the lens al the time. **Q: Does this kit fit a 58mm lens?** A: The Cokin P series can be used on lenses from 48 to 82 mm diameter (not focal length). **Q: Are these good for sunsets & sunrises?** A: I believe they are essential for sunsets and sunrises. At those times a day, light from the edge of the sun or the sun itself is likely to be in the shot, making the sky very much brighter than the rest of the scene. Graduated ND filters like these can bring the light levels of the sky to within the same exposure range as the Earth's surface, allowing detail from both to be recorded in the camera. I have found the Cokin filters to be good quality and genuinely neutral without adding a colour cast like cheaper filters, I have used in the past. Also excellent advice from J.P.
