Like the item
The label was put straight on the box which is difficult to get off without damaging the box, especially as it is a Christmas present. Please take this into consideration.

My Granddaughters christmas present and the only one we didnt put batteries in the parcel as it said they were included but there wasnt any.

Requires a COMPUTER/LAPTOP… ridiculous!
Overall Performance: 🌟 Educational 🌟Clear sound/pronunciations 🚫 Requires a computer/laptop for set up. 🚫Durability feels weak, like cheap plastic. 🚫Not suitable as a gift! I feel like I was missold this product, because during my first read through of the item I was happy and didn’t see anything about a COMPUTER being a requirement for installation. Now this to me is a stupid feature for a children’s toy. Having to connect the LeapStart to a computer, to download an app just to use the toy is foolish in all senses. I was excited to give her it for Easter but now that’s been delayed because it has to be set-up with a computer first! Quality is also crap, like its cheaply made and it feels like it’s going to break with ease. We all know how kids carry things, I can see my daughter breaking it already. So far, it’s not worth the money unless they drop the price. It’s not easy to use because you need a computer to set it up, and although the content is okay and the use is for educational purposes, I can’t tell you about the battery life. I suppose that’s dependant on the brand of batteries you use. Update: You cannot use a Chromebook, iPad/Tablet, or mobile device to download the programs to read the external books. It HAS to be a windows laptop/computer, or Mac laptop/computer. You need an email address, time and patience.. so DEFINITELY not recommended as a gift!! As educational as it may seem, it really isn’t worth the money.

Great value for money
Great. My 2 years old daughter loves it and I can swap books according to her age. Even visitors like playing with it.
