Can I put it outdoor? What if it rains?

Yes these work fine outdoors. Obviously if there is torrential rain there is a chance of water getting in the entry holes, use an all weather bait such as the cubes and this solves any problems.

Can someone tell me what is the point of having a clear box if the bait will not kill instantly so the mouse will die out of the box anyway?

The clear box makes it easy to see when the bait needs replacing .

Are the clear ones just as effective as the black ones or do mouse prefer a dark environment to pick up the baits?
